Creating mosaics in a traditional way with a local artist, helping community in social work area, learning Arabic language and discovering the beauty of Tunisia.
What Makes This Project Special and Unique?
The variety of activities offered is what makes this project special and unique. The activities organized by Ecocompartimos volunteers help participants gain new skills and competencies. During the various workshops, people can improve their language abilities, broaden their knowledge of the world and different cultures, and also develop their creativity.
A Mosaic for Peace
A Mosaic for Peace is an international cultural initiative aimed at sending a message in favor of tolerance, fraternity, and peace worldwide. In this project, participants design their own mosaic expressing their feelings in a 50 x 50 meter artwork, striving for a better life in a world that increasingly demands greater justice and solidarity, with the goal of establishing lasting peace.
Meanwhile, ATJDCP is launching a call to cultivate peace through art and creativity by creating the largest mosaic in the world (100 x 50 meters), involving participants from all over the globe who hope humanity will ultimately overcome hatred.
Through this project, Ecocompartimos and ATJDCP aim to realize their aspiration of living together in a better world with more justice and solidarity, symbolized by this grand mosaic that will be placed in a prominent and touristic location in Sousse.
