Thanks to crowdfunding we were able to buy sewing machines to begin with sewing workshops to promote lifelong learning through acquiring new skills and enhancing handicraft abilities. It is also a way for women with less opportunities to be again integrated into the labor market, starting to make a living on their own and promote entrepreneurship mindset. 
The workshops are facilitated by a volunteer with a long experience in sewing industry and assisted by the Ecocompartimos European Solidarity Corps volunteers. In the workshops, we offer a wide range of ideas that the participants choose to be their sewing projects - from shopping bags, wallets and aprons to full-sized fitted outfits.
