Empowering Youth project ! It is the name of the project which took place on Monday 14th to Friday 19th at the Castle of San Servando in Toledo in Castilla La Mancha.
For this project, Ecocompartimos received 21 participants from different countries: Morocco, Estonia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Tunisia and Spain. This is made possible by the supervision of two trainers, Erika Piirmets and Helena Lorente.
This training was divided into 5 days to understand and develop various skills such as emotional intelligence, verbal and non-verbal communication, or creativity and leadership. The aim was to be able to value and know how to value their skills, through an interview but also through their curriculum vitae and cover letter....
It was an interesting and enriching experience that hence, created possibilities to explore the city, and further explored different cultures and different way of thinking.
Not only this training allowed the various participants to know themselves better but also to exchange culturally. This training was given entirely in English.
During an intercultural evening, the participants were asked to present their country and its culture (dishes, confectionery, dances, anectodes, traditions ...).
Also, during their stay they were able to discover a part of the culture but especially the city of Toledo through a guided tour.
Friday was the last day of this training, and the last day was summed up with conclusions and the creation of a YouthPass (certificate of participation).
